Forum Shops at Caesars

In 1992, Terry Dougall designed the premier themed shopping destination, what would become the highest grossing mall in the United States, and truly an iconic feature for Las Vegas.

The famous painted sky ceiling that changes from dawn to dusk, numerous sculptures, and animatronic shows created an immersive shopping experience that draws customers from around the world and became a major tourist attraction for years in Las Vegas.

The client, Simon Property Group, a global leader in retail real estate development, returned to Shema Dougall Design Associates for remodels, expansions, and future projects.

The Forum Shops were a trifecta: a financial hit, a tourist spot, and a completely innovative reimagining of what a space could be.
